Altyn Emel National Park is a state-protected nature reserve located in the Jetysay region, approximately 250 km from Almaty. Spanning over 4,600 square kilometers, it showcases a remarkable diversity of landscapes including towering sand dunes, rugged mountain ranges, vast steppes, and saxaul forests.
