The play tells the story of two characters, Weller and Fonsia, whose fates intersect in their final refuge—an ordinary nursing home where they meet at a card table. Dealing cards and anticipating their neighbour's next move, the characters forget about the world around them, immersed in a passionate game. A tale of how the heart continues to yearn for love in old age, to marvel at the world, and to tremble with emotion.
