Ethno-aul BalQaragai

Location: Outside the city, approximately 20 minutes from Astana, Astana-Malotimofeyevka Street, 2.

About this place: A yurt complex featuring Kazakh traditions, a horse stable, and an open-air kitchen.

The yurts here are built according to traditional canons, and in the main yurt stands a copy of the khan's throne — you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of nomadic life for a couple of hours without traveling far from the city. The program includes national games, master classes, and an open-air kitchen with plov cooked in a cauldron.

History

The ethno-aul occupies 2680 m² as part of the larger BalQaragai recreation zone and hosts over 100 events annually. Its rating on maps is 4.2 based on more than 8000 reviews.
