🚗 Route on 2GIS

Evrikum is located on the second floor of MEGA Park shopping center on Seifullin Prospekt — you can get there by car or public transport, and the shopping center has parking available. It operates every day from 10:00 to 22:00, so you can visit any day of the week. The venue combines two formats in one ticket: a contact zoo where children can touch and feed mini-pigs, hedgehogs, chicks, and ducklings, and a corner with simple physics and optics experiments. The format is designed for a couple of hours — it's typically difficult to keep younger children entertained longer, and for a short visit between shopping trips at the mall, this is exactly what you need.

History

MEGA Park shopping center, where Evrikum currently operates, opened on Seifullin Prospekt on August 30, 2014 — with a three-story shopping gallery and an underground parking lot for nearly 1,600 cars. The exact date when the contact zoo opened in the shopping center is not published in open sources. What is known is different: the Evrikum brand in Almaty is not just one location, but several different projects with a similar name in different parts of the city, which often confuses visitors.

The most famous of them is Evrikum City: an interactive professional experience center for children in Forum shopping mall at 617 Seifullin Prospekt. There, children try out adult professions rather than pet animals. Also in Forum is Evrikum Village — another children's entertainment park under the same brand. The Evrikum contact zoo on the second floor of MEGA Park is a separate venue specifically focused on animals. If the purpose of your visit is to see animals, it's worth going to the exact address rather than relying on just the name in your navigation app.

In the zoo itself, you'll find mini-pigs, hedgehogs, chicks, and ducklings: animals that you can not only look at through glass but also touch and feed, which children usually enjoy more than watching large predators behind bars. The same ticket also includes access to a small corner with simple physics and optics experiments, so a visit combines a contact zoo with a mini-science museum. The format is primarily designed for families with young children and fits perfectly into a shopping center trip: an hour or two — and you can get back to your usual activities at the mall.
